The Most Delicious Banana Bread

No joke, this is 100% delicious, so delicious that I’ll spare you a useless intro!

Ingredients

4 medium bananas mashed (should be really ripe)

1 egg

1 TBSP vanilla extract

3 TBSP brown sugar

1 TBSP granulated sugar

1 tsp cinnamon

1.5 cup all purpose flour

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp baking soda

2 TBSP melted butter

1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional but yummy)

Directions

1. Preheat open to 350 degrees and grease a loaf pan – grease it thoroughly to make sure the bread doesn’t stick when baked

2. In a mixing bowl, mash bananas throughly. Then add in the egg, vanilla extract, cinnamon, brown and granulated and sugar. Mix thoroughly.

3. In a separate mixing bowl, add flour, baking soda and baking powder. Stir well.

4. Combine the 2 mixing bowls. It may be easier to add the dry mixture to the wet. Make sure you mix well!

5. Add melted butter and chocolate chips and continue mixing well.

6. Pour the batter into the bread pan and bake in the oven for 40-45 minutes.

7. When baked, let bread cool in pan for about 10 minutes and then transfer out of the loaf pan and onto a cooling rack. Let cool completely before slicing – this will be hard, but you can do it

This recipe yielded us 16 slices of banana bread and each slice came in at ~90 calories per slice!

This is honestly so delicious and SO easy to bake. Trust me, I am not a baker and this was fool proof! This little loaf makes for great grab and go breakfasts or great snacks.
